Career Summary

Brian's current responsibilities are business development in UK and Ireland including a specific focus on the logistics sector. Brian specialises in the logistics sector, freight and passenger transport risks, transportation sector PPP and PFI and motor Fleet risks.

Background

Brian joined the TT Club in 2008. He has been in the industry for 30 years working with national and international clients in the transportation sector.

Experience working with national and international clients in the Transportation sector to design and develop their risk and insurance programmes.This includes non-conventional solutions involving use of captives and Alternative Risk Transfer tools.

Prior to TT led the European Transportation & Logistics practice for the insurance broker Marsh covering all areas of freight and passenger transport including motor fleet operators and transportation asset leasing companies.

Worked with many of the sector’s leading companies including Exel, DHL, UPS, Deutsche Bahn, Salvesen, Wincanton, TDG, Virgin Rail, EWS, Eurotunnel and Bombardier.

Led teams for PPP/PFIs projects in the transport sector, including the London Underground PPP and train procurement projects.

Part of a team initiating and obtaining ISO9001 accreditation at a previous company.
