Risk Management
TT Club's Risk Management team is committed to the ongoing development of advice and information for Members and their brokers with the aim of controlling risk and reducing exposure to potential claims. The support provided involves reducing the risk of claims occurrence to Members, promoting ‘best practice’ opportunities, and improving risk assessment, mitigation and control. These activities are seen as core to the TT Club's mutual ethos, providing realistic, practical advice to the industry, while supporting the TT Club's assessment of risk for cover and pricing purposes.
The Risk Management team works closely with a number of international trade bodies which act for various sectors of the transport industry. These include BIMCO, the world’s largest private shipping organisation; ICHCA International Ltd, which works to promote safety and efficiency in handling and moving goods; and the IMO and ILO.
