You are invited to join us at European Shipping Week for our seminar on 'Safety in the Intermodal Supply Chain: Promoting the IMO/ILO/UNECE Code of Practice for the safe packing of cargo transport units' on Monday 27 February 2017 in Brussels.

The seminar, jointly hosted by Global Shippers Forum, ICHCA International, TT Club and World Shipping Council, will address the dangers posed to the supply chain by incorrectly packed and secured cargo, and how the CTU Code and related initiatives can assist in making cargo handling and transport safer.

We are delighted to announce our keynote speakers, Kitack Lim, Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization and Magda Kopczynska, Director for Waterborne Transport, DG MOVE, European Commission.

European Shipping Week is intended to be a platform where policy-makers from the main EU institutions will meet and engage with European shipowners and other stakeholders from the shipping sector. The focus is on shipping, in all its different aspects.
