TT Club continues its support of BIFA awards

24 January 2006

Leading transport insurance provider TT Club maintained its long-term cooperation with BIFA (the British International Freight Association) last week, by sponsorship of the Supply Chain Management category at the Association’s latest annual Freight Service Awards ceremony.

The Award was presented to SEKO Worldwide by TT Club chief executive Paul Neagle. SEKO proved its ability to surpass client’s expectation from both an operational and a financial perspective and beat off strong competition in this category to secure first place.

Mr Neagle emphasised, “There is a continuing need, in the fast-changing world of the global supply chain to adapt quickly and effectively; constantly striving to make one’s services relevant to the industry’s needs. SEKO, our winner this year have proven themselves more than capable in rising to this challenge. I congratulate SEKO’s people for their achievement.”

Congratulations should also be offered to the short-listed entrants in this category, who were Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics Ltd, Campbell Freight Ltd and RIF Worldwide.

TT Club recognises the rapid growth of international sourcing patterns and the demands this places on transport services within the supply chain. In order to better manage the changing risk structure consequent upon this growth, the Club has introduced a comprehensive Logistics Insurance product to assist transport service providers cover their contractual liabilities.
