TT Club Offers Members War Risks on Land Cover in the Middle East

April 28th 2026 – LONDON, UK
TT Club, the leading global transport and logistics insurer, has confirmed its marine war risks buyback cover for Members’ containers in the Gulf, which can now be extended to include war risks on land.
TT Club Members with marine war risks buyback are able to purchase cover for listed areas, including the Gulf region, despite the ongoing conflict, allowing them to continue operating in the region with their usual level of cover.
The Club is offering those Members the option to buy war risks cover for containers on land – an exceptional policy change, which supports Members whose supply chain operations extend beyond the ship and into port and inland environments.
Andrew Peers, Underwriting Director at TT Club, commented: "Our Members are operating in one of the most challenging and unpredictable environments the industry has seen in decades. Our priority has been to stand by them through that uncertainty, and we are proud to be able to offer continued marine war risks cover, and now also war risks cover on land, in the Gulf region. This is what membership of TT Club means in practice – support when it matters most."

TT Club has also published detailed guidance for Members navigating the complexities of operating in conflict-affected areas and recently hosted a dedicated webinar to help Members understand their cover, assess their risk exposure and make informed operational decisions.
As the situation in the Gulf continues to evolve, TT Club urges its Members to review their insurance arrangements carefully and contact their broker or usual TT Club representative with any queries relating to the scope of their cover.
