Members of our Underwriting team, Barbara Lukasik, Alexander Murray and Tyler Summers, completed the Waves Group Cwaves Port Course. This one-day familiarisation course introduces claims executives, underwriters and maritime lawyers to the intricacies of port planning, design and operation. The course included formal presentations at the Waves Group's London office followed by a boat trip on the Thames to look view maritime structures, a visit to the Port of London Authority Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) control room and a visit to Tilbury Port.

Delegates had the opportunity to see containers being moved by straddle carriers and a ship being loaded by cranes. The TT Club team were also very lucky with the weather and enjoyed a day of sea and sunshine.
