TT Club and Thomas Miller Welcomed a Delegation from Xiamen, China
Xiamen is the second largest city of the Fujian province of China with a population of 4 million. It has the eighth largest container port in China and eighteenth largest in the world. The port, which has traditional cargo handling facilities, in addition to container terminals has been making rapid development over the years.
The purpose of the visit was to understand more of the shipping/insurance sectors in London and to foster good relations. Presentations were given by on the UK P&I Club, the TT Club and Thomas Miller itself.
TT Club's presenter was Paul Wicks, Senior Underwriter. Paul gave an overview of the TT Club our covers and services.
After the presentation the delegation were given a tour of the Lloyds of London building.
