Press Release: TT Club appoints new Logistics Insurance Director
29 September 2008
Brian Sullivan comes to TT Club with over 30 years' experience in the insurance industry, having spent the last 18 with leading insurance brokers Marsh, where he was practice leader in European transportation, responsible for developing the firm's capabilities in the transport sector throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He began his career as an underwriter in the late '70s, having taken an MA degree in Economics at Edinburgh University. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
As Logistics Insurance Director for TT Club, Sullivan will take on responsibility for extending TT Club's reach into the logistics sector, promoting its capabilities to leading operators in the field. "This is an area where TT Club needs to be better represented", Sullivan believes. "I will be conducting a review both internally and with our clients to see how we can tailor our insurance products and risk management services to their needs".
TT Club's CEO Paul Neagle welcomed Brian Sullivan's appointment. Logistics is one of the fastest growing sectors of the transport industry and increasingly vital to the world economy. It is clearly an area where we need to have a higher profile, and Brian's experience in working with major global and regional operators over many years puts him in an excellent position to develop further this area of our business."
