Supply chain security - Driver attack
Thieves will sometimes cause a minor traffic accident to lure a driver out of their cab to exchange documents or inspect the damage. They will then abduct the driver and steal the cargo, making sure that by the time the driver has a chance to contact their company, the cargo is long gone. A driver's safety is of utmost importance, so make sure you always protect yourself and remain in the vehicle.
