TT Club, the specialist transport insurance provider, has confirmed Andrew Huxley to the new position of Regional Sales Director based in London, where he will be responsible for developing business within Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Mr Huxley has 24 years experience with major broking houses in London, the Middle East, Far East and Australia, and most recently worked for the London-based international property departments of Heath Lambert and Aon as Business Development Director.

Brian Wood, head of underwriting at TT Club, commented: "This appointment further illustrates our determination to increase the spread of business in TT's portfolio. Andrew's long sales experience with leading brokers will add a new dimension to our approach."

The ports and terminals sector, which accounts for the bulk of property assets insured within the Club, provided 58% of TT Club's premiums in its last reported financial year, while the Europe region's share of premium income remained steady at 34%. TT Club insures over 2,000 port and terminal operations in five continents.
