TT Club in US$30m capital boost

Transport insurance provider TT Club has announced that it is strengthening its capital base through the issue of "floating" subordinated loan notes worth a total of US$30 million.
At the Gala Dinner on 21st September 2006 during the FIATA World Congress 2006 in Shanghai, Mr Andreas Mueller, Chairman of the Steering Group could announce Mrs Marlena Goldberger from the UK as the final winner.

TT Club, the leading transport insurance provider, has announced a number of management changes in its Asia-Pacific and Europe regions.
THROUGH Transport Club, the international transport mutual, is aiming to increase the volume of insurance business with logistics and transport operators under its new four-year business plan.
Insurance providers are struggling to keep pace with changes in the logistics industry and need a new approach to understanding risk in the light of today's logistics contracts.
While New Orleans gradually climbs out of the troubles caused by last year's flooding TT Club has launched a loss-prevention initiative in the form of a 45-page guide to help port and terminal operators minimise the damage caused by windstorms.
The TT Club has received a boost from industry ratings agency AM Best, which has upgraded the Club's financial strength rating to A- (Excellent) from B++ (Very Good).
TT Club has announced a US$23.2 million surplus after tax for its 2005 financial year, marking a further strengthening of its finances and another successful trading period, during which it has increased its leading market share. The result boosted total surplus and reserves by 25.9 per cent to US$112.7 million.

Leading transport insurance provider TT Club maintained its long-term cooperation with BIFA (the British International Freight Association) last week, by sponsorship of the Supply Chain Management category at the Association's latest annual Freight Service Awards ceremony.
