Eva joined Thomas Miller Shanghai Representative Office in July 2014, before which she worked in a Chinese law firm in Shanghai for two years. Eva graduated from Shanghai Maritime Law University with an LLB degree majoring Maritime Law in 2010. She then went to University College London and obtained her LLM degree in 2011.

Edgar joined Thomas Miller in 1994 after graduating with a social science degree. Having been a Claims Executive in Hong Kong for six years handling UK Club and TT Club claims, he has become Thomas Miller's Shanghai Representative performing both a claims advisory and marketing liaison role. Edgar speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and Shanghainese.
Chen Yi

Chen Yi joined the Thomas Miller Shanghai Representative Office in January 2010. Prior to this, he worked in a maritime consultant firm and maritime law firm, serving as recovery agent. He graduated from Dalian Maritime University with a master's degree in maritime law in 2006, and from Ningbo University with a bachelor's degree in law in 2003.
Markus McMillin

Markus has a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco (1996) and is licensed to practice law in both California (1996) and Hawai'i (1997). He was Editor-in-Chief of the University of San Francisco Maritime Law Journal, University of San Francisco School of Law from 1995-1996. He litigated at two maritime law firms in San Francisco before starting at Thomas Miller’s San Francisco office in 2006 where he handled claims for the UK P&I, UK Defense and TT Clubs. In January 2018, he left to work for an international commercial insurer, but ultimately returned to Thomas Miller in Oct. 2022. Markus specialises in U.S.-based high value maritime personal injury and cargo damage cases

Jennifer recently joined Thomas Miller Americas’ San Francisco office and is a member of our BI Team. Jennifer is originally from California and sailed competitively for Stanford University during her college years. She then earned her law degree at University of San Francisco Law School where she was an editor for the Maritime Law Journal. Prior to joining Thomas Miller, she was a Partner at a West Coast maritime defense firm, where she specialized in longshore and crew bodily injury matters.

George Radu joined TMA in 2007 after spending 19 years at a major container shipping line including 10 years as Claims Manager. He handles cargo related claims and is the America’s Loss Prevention officer.

Marcus joined TT Club in 2020 as specialist underwriter for TT Club risks as part of the Thomas Miller team based in the Netherlands. He has crucial local knowledge and much experience in marine insurance from working as both a broker and underwriter in the Netherlands throughout his career, with companies that include AON, AEGON, Generali and Amlin. In servicing the European TT Club Membership, Marcus' role is to uphold the very best standards of service the Club's Members know and expect, continuing to forge ever closer and enduring relations while bringing his skills and experience to bear in building the Membership across the Benelux region.
Davinio Dwarkasing

Davinio joined TT Club in February 2022 as an Underwriting Technician primarily for the Mediterranean and Central Europe region after having completed his LLM in Law of the Sea. Based in Rotterdam he will also provide support for all the Underwriting teams within the EMEA area. Davinio speaks English, Spanish, Dutch and conversational Norwegian. He is currently completing his LLM in Maritime Law from the University of Oslo.
