2009 sees the 10th Anniversary of the FIATA Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year award, sponsored by TT Club.

Monday, June 30th, 2008... Alternative Risk Management Limited (ARM), the leading independent captive manager in Guernsey, has announced that it has agreed terms with Thomas Miller for the acquisition of the latter's Guernsey company, Thomas Miller Risk Management (Guernsey) Ltd. The acquisition has been approved by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission; from 1st July, the company will be operating under the new name of Alternative Risk Management (Guernsey) Ltd.

Four regional finalists representing the future of the freight forwarding industry are preparing to travel to Vancouver on Tuesday September 23rd to attend the FIATA World Congress. The four, from South Africa, Canada, Indonesia and Germany, will each be hoping for selection as the overall Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year and a prize that includes hands-on training experience at one of TT Club's regional centres in London, Hong Kong or New Jersey
